Open FormulaZero on your computer and choose Phone as Controller. Both on the same Wi-Fi works best.
Swipe down from the top-right corner and tap Portrait Orientation Lock. The controls then stay put however far you tilt.
Android: turn off Auto-rotate.
Then hold the phone sideways like a steering wheel.
